Welcome to June 2022! It's hard to believe we're halfway through the year already, but with so much shifting and changing, the past six months have flown by.
Some themes I'm sensing for the month include:
Increase in direct communication & self-expression
Love is in the air! Emotion, romance, connection, & reconnection take center stage this month as we move into a summer of love.
Lighter energies — after a few months of heavy lessons, change, and recalibration, this month feels like a breath of fresh air that helps us to move forward with the new as it arrives.
Lots and lots of movement! This can mean travel, moving homes, or suddenly becoming "un-stuck" in situations that have stayed the same for a long time. Paths are being cleared and obstacles removed in perfect timing.
Integration of past lessons & experiences
Increased clarity, intuitive abilities, & personal revelations
Sudden influxes of tangible blessings & manifestations

June 28/29 - New Moon in Cancer
Now that we've gotten the birds-eye view, let's dive in further.
We've been feeling this Mercury retrograde since May 10 (right in the middle of the eclipse window) and we finally go back to direct motion on June 3. After Mercury goes direct, it does take a while for it to gain its usual momentum again, so this energy won't be fully resolved until mid-June. However, the bulk of the retrograde "revisit and review" will complete early this month, giving us an opportunity to integrate and better understand any lessons learned during this time.
The day after Mercury goes direct, Saturn begins its retrograde in Aquarius. This begins a phase of karmic rebalancing and justice being served. Whatever seeds have been planted are now bearing fruit. This retrograde lasts through late October. Whatever has been sown leading up to this retrograde will be reaped during this time.
While Saturn can get a bad rap at times due to its harsh, restrictive nature, Saturn has a lot of important lessons to offer us. Saturn is the epitome of action and consequence, effort and reward. When we are avoiding our lessons or refuse to put in the necessary work, Saturn can come down hard on us. However, when we are diligently moving forward, facing our shadows, and putting consistent effort into what we are navigating, Saturn comes through with ample rewards.
Whatever circles back during this time period is important to pay attention to. Everything that returns at this point in time is linked to past actions, past decisions, and past roads that have been walked.
On June 13, Mercury enters the sign of Gemini, giving our communication an extra burst forward. In addition to amplifying our mental energy and desire to communicate, Gemini also represents duality and the ownership of all parts of the self. With the recent Gemini New Moon, the continuation of Gemini season, and Mercury moving into Gemini, we are being asked to own and express all parts of ourselves. It is fully time to bring our authentic self into the light and allow its divine integration to take place.
So many people are waiting for what you have to say, what you have to contribute, what you bring into the world just by being you. It's time to own your gifts, your power, your beauty and your flaws. It's time to let the world see you for who you are.
On June 14, we have a powerful Full Moon in Sagittarius. More on this mid-month, but for now I will say — Sagittarius is bringing the fire!!
June 21 moves us from Gemini season into the watery, emotional sign of Cancer. Matters of heart and home come deeply into focus at this time. This opens a time of heart-based expression and changes of scenery where they're needed — from taking a vacation to redecorating to moving into an entirely new home!
On June 23, Venus joins Mercury in Gemini. The planet of love, beauty, relationships, and value takes on an airy quality. This can further amplify our communication, especially when it comes to expressing ourselves to those we care about. This creates another push toward acceptance of all sides of ourselves, most notably how we show up in our relationships. What have you hidden from your loved ones that is now begging to be seen?
Neptune retrograde begins in the sign of Pisces on June 28. Neptune rules imagination, dreams, intuitive abilities, and mysticism, and the qualities of Pisces only serve to amplify this energy. Neptune retrograde is known for stripping away illusions and clearing away anything that has been clouding your vision. Psychic abilities and sensitivity can increase during this time. This retrograde phase lasts until early December.
On June 28/29 depending where you are in the world, we also have a dreamy New Moon in Cancer. We will dive in deeper toward the end of the month, but this moon forms the jumping-off point for many emotional new beginnings, especially around the themes of family, home, relationships, and matters of the heart.
This month's energy feels incredibly potent already and I can feel myself buzzing with excitement as we see what's to come.
