New Moon in Cancer - June 28/29, 2022

Today we have a dreamy New Moon in Cancer coupled with the start of Neptune retrograde in Pisces. This moon is highly emotional and forms the jumping-off point for many passionate new beginnings, especially within the themes of family, home, relationships, and matters of the heart.

New moons are an excellent time to plant seeds, start new projects, set intentions, and begin the first steps of what you're trying to create. Today's moon lands at 7 degrees, which gives it the qualities of Libra as well. Relationships are coming to the forefront; harmony and balance are being reached.

There is an important lesson to be taken here with Neptune stationing retrograde on the same day. Neptune, the planet of dreams, imagination, intuitive abilities, and mysticism is also the planet of fantasies and illusions. While you may have been wearing rose-colored glasses before, this Neptune retrograde period is here to take them off so you can see clearly everything that lies before you.

Neptune retrograde is known for stripping away illusions and clearing away anything that has been clouding your vision.
